Living by her motto ‘The magic is in the doing’, Pelumi is known for exploring the less travelled paths all around the world. So far she has travelled and explored over 80 countries across 6 continents.
Pelumi recently completed a momentous feat: being the first woman to drive solo from London to Lagos covering over 10,000km in 74 days to connect two of the places she calls home. This achievement led to her appointment as Ambassador of Tourism for the state of Lagos, Nigeria.
With a background in Bio-Medical Science and a former Ph.D. candidate in cancer research and human genetics, Pelumi transitioned from a promising science career to follow her passion for adventure travel. Now with her content she encourages women to embrace solo travel, by setting an example and using engaging storytelling to motivate her audience to step out of their comfort zone.
Featured in Forbes, BBC, CNN, and many more, Pelumi continues to redefine travel narratives, champion diversity and inclusion, and inspire a new generation of audacious adventurers.
