THE MAGIC IS IN THE DOING

Pelumi Nubi is a trailblazing adventurer, storyteller, and advocate for women living boldly. She’s explored over 80 countries across six continents, often seeking out the roads less traveled and sharing her experiences along the way.

In 2024, Pelumi made history as the first woman to drive solo from London to Lagos. Covering more than 10,000 kilometers in just 74 days, this epic journey connected two places she calls home and earned her the title of Lagos State’s Tourism Ambassador. Talk about turning a passion into impact!

Pelumi’s path hasn’t always been linear. With a degree in Biomedical Science and a background as a Ph.D. candidate in cancer research and human genetics, she was on track for a career in academia. But her love for adventure led her to pivot, swapping lab coats for road maps. Today, she inspires others—especially women—to embrace solo travel, take risks, and live life on their terms.

Her work has caught the attention of global media powerhouses like Forbes, BBC, and CNN. Whether she’s sharing stories about her latest adventure or offering fresh perspectives on diversity and inclusion in travel, Pelumi is redefining what it means to explore the world.

In her TEDx talk, “How to Embrace Imperfect Action”, Pelumi dives into how we can start messy, finish strong, and learn fast. It’s a message that resonates far beyond travel and inspires people to take action in all areas of life.

Pelumi is on a mission to ignite a sense of adventure in others, and she’s available for speaking engagements around the world. If you’re looking for someone who can captivate an audience with stories of resilience, courage, and transformation, Pelumi’s your speaker.

Let her inspire your audience to dream bigger, act braver, and redefine what’s possible!
